Chalet Stugan is a converted agricultural building that once formed part of the dairy farming industry for which Les Gets is famed. Within the conversion it has been possible to successfully blend the old with the new. From its own private parking area the chalet is approached by steps and boasts a proud South facing position with beautiful views of the ski slopes opposite and Westwards down the valley towards Taninges. It is within easy walking distance of both the ski lifts and also the quaint, vibrant town centre of Les Gets. Accommodation The ground floor offers a bootroom with boot dryer, storage for ski and snowboard equipment. There is also ample storage for mountain bikes. In the style of the old building there are stairs leading up to the front door. This leads to an entrance porch and then into the open plan living areas. The accommodation itself sleeps 12 without intruding into the communal areas. All areas are spacious with comfortable furnishings. The dining area has a large farmhouse table that will seat 12 persons with ease. The kitchen is practical and well equipped having gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher etc. The lounge area offers a large corner sofa in front of a cosy woodburner along with flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a selection of DVDs and also board games. The chalet also has the benefit of wifi internet connection. Two bedrooms have en-suite facilities with an additional main bathroom having both bath and shower. There are two balconies facing South and West and both are covered. Outside there is ample room to BBQ or just to relax. Bedrooms All beds are of good quality and the rooms are decorated in the original French style.
